BeatSoul Records is an independent record label from Vancouver, British Columbia. When BeatSoul approached me with the task of rebranding them, they weren’t sure where they visually fit into the music industry. Since BeatSoul was working with a lot of underground artists and creatives, the branding was meant to feel like a members club in a sort of street and charismatic way, while also feeling slightly professional for the scenarios in which the BeatSoul team wanted to pitch themselves and their ideas to a larger clientele. The team requested that a record be visible in the word mark, and with that In consideration the simple yet recognizable record logo + word mark was born.
